Chase Southard
Briefly, I’d say that I’m a Biologist seduced by computers. Which is to say that I have a BS in Biological Science and work as a Research Analyst where my primary tool is my MacBook Pro. I am very interested in bioinformatics, statistics, and molecular biology. I’ve built web sites and web apps for myself, my lab, and others since perhaps 2003 ultimately leading up to my personal discovery of Ruby and Rails a few years ago. Since then, I currently organize the Kentucky Ruby User Group and continue to expand my skills.
